THE LAST WEEK WAS PACKED WITH THINGS TO DO.
When we first got to Cusco the altitude was rough on some of us, the already sick and the non sick. After making sure everyone was alright we headed to the hostel. That first night was spent in bed by some, others went out and saw some of Cusco. The rest of the week was filled with tours of Machu Pichu, Ollantaytambo, and other Incan sights. When we got back to Cusco we went gift shopping, watched a peaceful protest, and ate at some of the local restaurants. One restaurant, Aldea Yanapay (CLICK ON THE LINK!) had a good vibe, super sized portions of food, suave background music, and a mission. This restaurant was started by a man named Yuri, and to give you the brief story, he likes to help people, his restaurant and nearby hostel fund an afterschool program for kids in Cusco who would otherwise probably be in a hostile home, or other enviorment. If you want to know more look about an inch up on the screen.

Celia:
Cusco and Aguas Calientes (town at the base of Machu Pichu) were very beautiful. I enjoyed the weather and clear blue skies. Perhaps my favorite evening in Cusco was when we went to the Yanapay school and after the Aldea Yanapay restaurant where we met Yuri, the founder of the Yanapay organization. All in all I loved seeing the sights in Cusco, but im excited to be back in San Bartolo and ready to get to work.

Nelly:
It was crazy, fun, and interesting. It was crazy because alot of people were getting sick, and we had to move
